The App accesses your device’s contact list to identify recently removed contacts, create backups, manage duplicates, and restore contacts.

How We Use It:
All contact data is processed locally on your device only.
We do NOT upload your contacts to our servers or to any third-party servers.

Storage:
If you create a backup, it is stored either:

  • On your device’s internal storage, or
  • Directly in your personal Google Drive account

We do not have access to your contacts or your Google Drive files.

2.2 Device and Usage Information

The following data may be collected automatically by third-party services integrated into the App:

  • Device Information: device model, operating system version, Advertising ID
  • App Usage Data: app interactions, feature usage, session duration
  • Crash Data: crash logs and performance diagnostics
  • Network Information: basic connectivity information required for ads and cloud features

2.3 Storage Permissions

  • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below):
    Used to save and read local backup files on your device.
  • Android 13 and above:
    These permissions are not required due to scoped storage.

We use information only for the following purposes:

  • Core Functionality: scanning, backing up, restoring, and managing contacts
  • Google Drive Integration: optional cloud backups to your own account
  • Advertising: displaying ads via Google AdMob

  • Crash Reporting: detecting and fixing technical issues

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

4.1 Contact Data

We do NOT share, sell, or transfer your contact information.
Your contacts remain:

  • On your device (local backups), or
  • In your personal Google Drive account (cloud backups)

The App uses the following trusted third-party services:

Google AdMob

  • Purpose: display advertisements
  • Data Collected: Advertising ID, device type, ad interactions

Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics)

  • Purpose: app analytics and crash reporting

Google Drive API

  • Local Backups: retained on your device until you uninstall the App or clear the App’s data via device settings
  • Google Drive Backups: retained until you delete them from your Google Drive
  • Ad & Analytics Data: retained by Google according to their policies

7.1 Access and Control

  • Review backups stored locally on your device
  • Manage app permissions via Android Settings

7.2 Data Deletion

  • Local Data: uninstall the App or clear app data in device settings
  • Google Drive Backups: delete files directly from your Google Drive
  • Advertising Data: reset Advertising ID in Android Settings

7.3 Revoke Permissions

You may revoke contact access at any time via:
Android Settings → Apps → Restore Deleted Contacts → Permissions

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International Data Transfers

Third-party services (Google) may process data on servers located outside your country, including the United States.
